Traganou Beach, also written as Traounou, is a pebble beach on the east coast of Rhodes between Faliraki and Afandou. Clear water and a large cave at one end give the shoreline its distinctive character. Parts of the beach offer seasonal facilities, while other stretches retain a more open and spacious feel.
Visitors to Traganou Beach should bring footwear suitable for pebbles and take care on wet or uneven surfaces near the cave. Sea conditions can change, so swimmers should follow any flags, lifeguard guidance and local restrictions rather than assuming the sheltered appearance guarantees safety. Shade and services vary by season. Rock faces should not be climbed, and marked military or restricted areas must never be entered.
