The Shaar Rason Synagogue, also known as the New Synagogue, is one of the oldest synagogues in Mumbai, India. It was built in 1843 by a group of Bene Israel Jews who broke away from the existing congregation at the Shaar Harahamim Synagogue.
The synagogue is located in the congested Khadak area of Mumbai, and is easily accessible from the Masjid railway station. The exterior of the building is somewhat rustic, with Hebrew scriptures and a Star-of-David above the entrance. The prayer room is in better condition, with a high ceiling painted yellow and a wooden Torah ark. There is also a women's gallery upstairs.
