Kailash Parbat visible from Khajjiar, Himachal Pradesh isn't actually the same Kailash Parbat revered in Tibetan Buddhism. That specific Kailash Parbat lies far off in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
The one you can see in Khajjiar is a different peak also called Kailash Parbat, standing at about 18,044 feet. While not the same mountain, the views of this Kailash Parbat are still awe-inspiring, especially on a clear day. You can catch glimpses of it from:

While you can't trek the Kailash Parbat you see from Khajjiar, the region around it offers plenty of other hiking opportunities. The scenery is stunning, and you'll likely spot some incredible wildlife along the way.
