Namdapha National Park is a national park and tiger reserve in Changlang district, Arunachal Pradesh, near the India-Myanmar border. Covering about 1,985 square kilometres, it extends from tropical rainforest to high mountain environments and supports exceptional plant and animal diversity. The Noa-Dihing River, dense forest and wide altitude range are central features of this remote protected landscape.
Miao is the principal gateway to Namdapha National Park, with Deban reached farther inside by forest road. Access, accommodation and guided activities require advance planning, and permits may apply. The Changlang district administration identifies October to April as the usual visiting season. Travellers should verify current road and park conditions, arrange transport and lodging early, and follow all wildlife and forest-department instructions.
