Getting There
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is easily accessible by car. If you're flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO), you can rent a car and drive, or take a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. The drive is a little over an hour on highway 528.
There is also a shuttle service that runs from some of the major hotels in the Orlando area to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Exhibits
There are many exhibits at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, including:
- Heroes & Legends: This exhibit features the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® presented by Boeing® and tells the stories of the brave men and women who have explored space.
- Apollo/Saturn V Center: Here you can see a real Saturn V rocket, which was the launch vehicle used for the Apollo missions to the moon.
- Space Shuttle Atlantis: This exhibit showcases the space shuttle Atlantis, which flew 33 missions into space. You can even take a simulated ride into space on the Shuttle Launch Experience.

Tours
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers a variety of tours, including:
- Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour: This tour takes you behind the gates of Kennedy Space Center for a close-up look at launch facilities and historic launch pads.

Other Activities

- Astronaut Training Experience: This experience allows you to try out some of the same training exercises that astronauts go through, such as the multi-axial chair and the Mars Base simulator.

Tips for Your Visit
- Purchase your tickets in advance, especially if you are visiting during peak season.
- Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be doing a lot of walking.
- Bring sunscreen and a hat, as there is very little shade at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
- Allow plenty of time for your visit, as there is a lot to see and do.
