While the Fazio Course at Turtle Bay Resort isn't technically in Honolulu, it's located on Oahu's North Shore near Kahuku and offers a scenic golfing experience. Designed by George Fazio in 1972, this course holds the title of being Turtle Bay's original course.
Known for being more forgiving than its neighbor, the Arnold Palmer Course, the Fazio Course offers a chance for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the game. Generous fairways and slightly shorter yardage (just over 6700 yards from the back tees) make it a popular choice. Breathtaking ocean views are a major perk, with several holes running right along the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
The Fazio Course boasts its own bit of history too. It hosted the inaugural Champions Tour Skins Game, featuring legends like Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Gary Player, and Chi Chi Rodriguez. So, while it might be a bit less challenging than the Palmer Course, you're still playing on a course steeped in golfing history and offering gorgeous Hawaiian scenery.
