Cyber Parc Arsat Moulay Abdeslam, Marrakech, Morocco, is a unique blend of history and modernity. This 8-hectare park was originally commissioned by Prince Moulay Abdeslam in the 18th century as a food-producing area. It was later transformed into a botanical garden by the French during their occupation, and then fell into disrepair. However, in 2003, it underwent a major rehabilitation process with the support of Maroc Telecom, transforming it into a "cyber park" with internet kiosks, multimedia stations, and an exhibition hall for the Museum of Communications.
Today, the park offers a serene escape from the bustling city, with fragrant citrus groves, shaded paths, and tranquil water features. It's a popular spot for locals and tourists alike to relax, stroll, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The park also offers a glimpse into Morocco's history and its embrace of modern technology, making it a fascinating destination for visitors.
