The Catholic Rosary Church, also known as St. Rosario Church, is considered one of the oldest churches in Kerala, belonging to the Roman (Latin) Catholic faith. It is situated adjacent to the Thalasseri Fort, along its northwest side, facing the sea. The church attracts visitors for its historical significance and architectural marvel, which includes unique stained glass works brought all the way from London.
Established in the early 16th century, the church was originally under the administration of the Archbishop of Goa. Presently, it belongs to the Diocese of Kannur after the bifurcation of the Diocese of Calicut on November 5, 1998.
