Nestled amidst the hills of Kalimpong, West Bengal, the Cactus Nursery (more accurately called Pine View Nursery) is a haven for succulent lovers. Boasting the largest cactus collection in all of Asia, this two-acre wonderland houses over 1,500 species of cacti from around the world.
Founded by Mr. Mohan S Pradhan, a passionate botanist who transitioned from orchids to cacti, the nursery is a labor of love spanning over four decades. Inside the sprawling greenhouses, you'll find a diverse array of cacti in all shapes and sizes – from the familiar prickly pear to the bizarre and intriguing living stones.
